BAML's John to join Citi in spot trading

citigroup

Anthony John, who recently left Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), will join Citi as a spot foreign exchange trader.

Based in London, John will report locally to Rohan Ramchandani, head of the spot-trading desk. He will start in his new role in July and is expected to trade the GBP/USD currency pair.

At BAML, John was a director in FX spot trading. He left a few weeks ago along with senior FX trader Graeme King. King's plans are not yet known.

Citi declined to comment.
