New spot FX trading chief at Morgan Stanley

Chris Nicoll, who was made a managing director in 2005, left the US investment bank last week. Nicoll was immediately replaced by Steve Glynn, a senior colleague on the spot desk in London, as head of European spot foreign exchange trading. Glynn previously worked as head of European forwards FX at the bank and was made a managing director in 2006.

The reshuffle follows the bank's hire of ex-Merrill Lynch employee Mark de Wild Propitius to run the long-dated foreign exchange books on its interest
