Morgan Stanley loses sales head

Ekkehard Stegner

, head of European investor sales at Morgan Stanley in London, has left the bank, the desk confirmed. Stegner joined from JP Morgan in 2000, where he worked as an FX sales dealer (FX Week, October 16, 2000). Stegner is rumoured to be heading to Barclays Capital, but the bank did not comment on this.

Morgan Stanley also recently hired Chris Hewitt, vice-president forex sales from Credit Suisse First Boston. He had reported to Stegner.
