Merrill names Patelis head of research strategy
Merrill Lynch in London has made Alex Patelis head of global FX and local currency research strategy (FX Week, April 10).
Patelis, who has been promoted from head of G10-FX strategy, will work closely with the bank's global economics team to formulate the long-term outlook for major global currencies.
He will also work with Merrill's fixed-income research department and macro strategists "in providing creative solutions for our clients' increasingly
