HVB names head of spot
HypoVereinsbank (HVB) has rehired Eric Pfennig in the role of head of FX spot for Europe, based in London.
Pfennig returns from HSBC in Hong Kong, where he worked on the euro/dollar book.
He had previously worked at HVB as chief dealer.
Pfennig fills the void left by Mike Hillier, who left HVB at the same time as Pfennig last year (FX Week, May 2, 2005). Pfennig reports to Georg Kirchner, global head of FX in London.
