Scandal-hit RBC loses Allen

The move comes in the wake of a trading scandal that sees three traders implicated. RBC has so far declined to comment, but Mark Portlock, Wayne Baker and Chris Twort are understood to be the three staff involved.

A bank official confirmed that Portlock has since parted company with the Canadian bank. Twort and Baker are understood to have been reinstated recently (FX Week, March 21).

Allen's departure follows the recent transfer of Jason Henderson, global head of derivatives trading, from Toronto
