Longmore to join BarCap
Barclays Capital (BarCap) is understood to have signed Merrill Lynch sales head Richard Longmore. Starting on August 15 as head of European FX sales, excluding corporates, he will report locally to George Athanasopoulos, head of global FX sales.
Longmore spent 13 months at Merrill Lynch as head of EMEA foreign exchange sales in London. He left on May 12 (FX Week, May 15). BarCap did not confirm the hire. Meanwhile, Jeremy Furniss who left his role as FX options trader at
