ABN Amro relocates Asia G11 FX business

The relocation brings together G11 FX with the bank's Asian local markets FX business in an effort to strengthen and centralise more of its client-facing and risk-taking activities.

"The two main reasons [for this centralisation] are to bring the business closer to its extensive Asian client base and to create greater synergies and efficiencies with an already very strong Asian local markets currency business," Pat Bartle, global head of FX trading in London, told FX Week.
