Strategy head quits HSBC
HSBC global head of emerging markets FX strategy Mike Newton has left the bank, the desk confirmed. Newton, whose current whereabouts are unknown, is understood to be joining a New York-based hedge fund. He reported to Mark Austin, global head of currency strategy.
