Simon Head, director at search firm Alexander Mann in London, said it has become increasingly difficult to create revenue from both French corporates and investors. He said on average, institutional FX sales people to France do not tend to bring in more than e5 million per year.

"As a result, sales individuals tend to cover other geographies or cover all French-speaking countries to supplement this income," he told FX Week.
