The Canadian bank has named Gary Sams as Jungreis’ successor to run the FX business in London. Sams is a recent addition to the bank, having joined in March from Merrill Lynch to take a senior trading role in the emerging markets FX team (FX Week, March 14). At Merrill, Sams ran the London G7 forwards desk. He reports to Jungreis.
Peter Airlie now runs the London sales desk, reporting to Sams. He joined the bank 18 months ago from Standard Chartered in London, where he had two spells, most
