BarCap names global head of FX sales
Barclays Capital (BarCap) has appointed George Athanasopoulos as global head of FX sales.
Athanasopoulos was previously managing director, head of foreign exchange sales for Europe in London. In this new role, he will continue to run institutional and European corporate FX sales, but takes on a global function.
He continues to report to Guglielmo Sartori di Borgoricco, global head of sales.
Athanasopoulos joined BarCap in November 2004 from Merrill Lynch
