Julius Baer takes on Wallstreet FX-Web

This web component allows direct access to the bank's trading environment, providing private bankers with automated prices and trading. It is run on the bank's servers and linked to the bank via dedicated lines.

The system takes prices and liquidity from third-party feeds and calculates an appropriate markup for them.

Prices are then sent to the portfolio managers in real time. Previously, portfolio managers had to call the bank's central sales desk to get rates and enter requests manually.
