Volatility suits Tullett Prebon

The company posted full-year preliminary results last Tuesday (March 11), reporting a rise in treasury product group revenue, including the foreign exchange business, up 10% to £204 million.

This makes the product group the interdealer broker's second-highest revenue earner - fixed income earned £210.8 million. But growth in every product group lagged behind the company's equity business, which grew 104% to £81 million, due to sustained volatility in the market.
