Wacker, who became global head of FX sales earlier this year, replaces Robert Valdes-Rodriguez, who takes on a newly created position as global head of futures sales and marketing (FX Week, May 23).
Wacker now also bears responsibilities for the overall management and strategic planning for FX and FX options sales.
He remains in Amsterdam and reports to Robert Douch, global head of financial markets sales in London, said a spokesperson for the bank in New York.
