NY prop desk for HSBC

NEW YORK -- HSBC has launched a proprieatry FX trading desk in New York under Dominic Larche, the bank said last week.
Eyup Saltik joined the bank on September 3 as the second member of the team. Further hires are unlikely, Larche told FX Week.
"Now Eyup’s on board, we have been putting together a strategy," said Larche, although he declined to comment on details of that strategy, saying it was still in its early stages.
There are no plans to establish corresponding teams in the bank’s other key
