Barclays Launches Overlay Desk with Banc One Staff

LONDON--Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank of the UK, has hired three people in London to run its new FX outsourcing or currency overlay service.
Andrew Winterton, head of the service, and associate director Mark Thomas both join from Banc One Currency Advisors in London. A third member of the team, yet to be named, will join later.
