The Bank of Scotland reports a 51 per cent increase in quarterly foreign exchange revenues for the period ended August 31 of £8 million versus the £5.3 million reported for the same period a year ago. Officials attribute the increase to high customer volumes. BoS reported £6.2 million in FX revenues for the period ended February 29.

The Bank of Japan reports average daily dollar/yen turnover volume in Tokyo for the week ended October 11 totalled $11.66 billion, down from the $13.34 billion
