Drake-Brockman joins RBS

LONDON – The Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Symon Drake-Brockman as managing director and head of capital markets in London. He replaces acting capital markets head Peter Nielsen, who will retain his primary role as global head of sales and marketing for RBS Financial Markets.
Nielsen was in charge of capital markets on a temporary basis following RBS’ takeover of National Westminster Bank and RBS last year, a spokesperson at RBS in London told FX Week.
