Corporate FX sales dealers facing poor job prospects

LONDON -- The combined effects of reduced mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity during the past 18 months and the introduction of the euro have hit recruitment prospects for corporate FX sales dealers, market participants told FX Week.

Reduced activity in forex by corporate clients, as a result of lower M&A, and the single European currency means there is less business to go around. At the same time, the nature of sales relationships between corporate clients and their banks' sales dealers
