ANZ Trims FX Operation In N.Y. Three From Forwards, One Spot

Add Australia & New Zealand Banking Corp. (ANZ) to the list of foreign banks that have moved to reduce their profile in the New York interbank foreign exchange market. ANZ just laid off three forward traders and one spot trader last week. The forward traders were involved in doing arbitrage between the forward and the futures market, sources at the bank say.
