Reuters' Year-End Results Show Growth In Transaction Products

LONDON--Reuters reports 1998 revenues for transaction products increased 6 per cent in 1998 to £882 million, buoyed by continued strong growth from Instinet, Reuters' equity brokerage service.
Dealing 2000-1 and Dealing 2000-2, which are the other core services in the transaction products line, recorded a 2 per cent decline in revenues for the year, to £436 million from £445 million in 1997.
According to the report, the fall in revenues reflects a decline in accesses to the foreign exchange
