Barclays grabs Lehman FX head

NEW YORK -- Barclays Capital has hired John Caccavale, head of FX trading for Lehman Brothers in New York, to head trading for the Americas. Caccavale will report to Thomas Kalaris, Barclays’ chief executive of the Americas, based in New York.

He replaces Larry Baum, Barclays’ former head of FX trading in New York, who recently joined Bank of America as global head of spot, forward and proprietary trading in New York (FX Week, March 4).
