Softbank Ups Cognotec Stake

TOKYO--Japanese internet company Softbank Group will announce today (Monday) that it is increasing its share in Cognotec, the e-commerce trading provider by a further 7 per cent. Softbank is paying $20 million for the extra stake.
In October 1999 Softbank made a $20 million strategic investment to gain a 10 per cent interest in Cognotec. The 7 per cent increase for the same price indicates the increasing worth of the Dublin-based Cognotec.
