Sony chooses City for global treasury centre

LONDON -- Sony Corporation will hire up to 15 additional staff to its Global Treasury Services (GTS) division in London this year, in a move to centralise the company’s global treasury management in the City.
All 15 will come from the London market, rather than being transferred from Sony branches elsewhere, a spokesperson at Sony in London told FX Week, although no further details were given.
