Chase Hires Two In London In Corporate Desk Expansion

Chase Manhattan Bank in London hired two new corporate traders last week as part of a long term effort to bolster its customer business. Albert Maasland, head of Chase's corporate desk, says the bank hired 20-year Manufacturers Hanover Trust veteran Brian Dobson as a senior corporate spot dealer and Sara Sullivan, an options marketing specialist from Midland Bank.

In the past year, says Maasland, Chase's corporate desk has grown from 18 to 23 in London; he plans to add a few more people this year
