SG kick-starts FX sales drive

LONDON -- French bank SG has made the first hire for its new institutional FX sales desk in London, Roy Nicholas, head of institutional sales at the bank in London, told FX Week.
Chinny Rao has joined SG in London as an FX sales dealer. Rao, who reports to Nicholas, joined from Mellon Bank in the City.
"This is the first of several hires we will be looking to make," Nicholas told FX Week. "We will be looking to expand aggressively and make further appointments."
Nicholas himself was snared from ABN
