Chase Manhattan, the largest bank holding company in the US, has awarded a £1.5 million contract, to IPC Information Systems for the installation of Tradenet MX foreign exchange dealing desks at its London Wall offices. The contract includes 2,600 NiceLog digital voice recording channels from Nice systems.

The contract, which follows the merger of Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank, sees the centralization of all UK trading activity at the London Wall offices. IPS installed the first 220 Tradenet
