ACI Council Focuses on Kuwait Crisis

The principal issues at last week's Association Cambiste Internationale Council meeting in Madrid last week was the industry's lack of readiness for the freeze on Kuwaiti banks foreign exchange transactions during the Gulf crisis. The Council has named a committee, mostly German members, to draw up guidelines for banks in the future.
