SINGAPORE -- Bank of America made five new hires in FX trading in Singapore and London in September. The hires are part of the bank’s ongoing move to strengthen foreign exchange, Larry Baum, New York-based global head of spot, forward and proprietary trading, told FX Week.

"This is a continuation of what we’ve already done in New York and London," said Baum. "We want the best possible people in seats around the globe, focused on the client and clients’ needs."

Four of the hires are in Singapore
