Lehman Manager Takes Over As Chief Executive At Echo

Phil Lynch, until recently a managing director of Lehman Brothers, has joined the Exchange Clearing House (Echo) as its new chief executive. He takes over from acting chief executive Bob Holmes who now becomes a senior adviser to Echo's board, focusing on the Asia-Pacific market.

In another appointment, also announced last week, Jean-Daniel de Jonge, formerly marketing manager for Swift in Brussels, joins the Echo management team as marketing director.

Holmes took the helm after a New Year
