RepNat Plans To Open New Zurich Unit, Staffed By Former UBS Treasury Team

ZURICH--Republic National Bank of New York is planning to open a treasury operation in Zurich, according to sources, and has hired a seven-strong team of currency dealers from the former Union Bank of Switzerland to lead the venture. These sources say former UBS board member Urs Seiler, who ran the Swiss bank's emerging markets operation, will head the new treasury unit.
