Parker Index Shows Positive Results For Currency Managers

STAMFORD, CT -- Currency managers had a good month last December, according to the Parker FX Index, which was up 5.22% for the month. This represents the best monthly returns for 2000.

Of 41 measured programmes, 93% reported positive results. The index measures the performance of fund managers positioning long or short foreign currencies.

Florida-based John W Henry & Company was the best performer in December, with its G7 Currency Portfolio up a reported 22.35%.
