Merrill Lynch adds two in institutional forex sales

NEW YORK -- Merrill Lynch hired two institutional FX sales dealers in New York last week as part of its continued global forex build-up, an official at the bank told FX Week.

Kendra Whisler joined as a director and Maria Betzios joined as a vice-president. Both report to New York-based head of investment advisor sales Michael Bernal.

Whisler joins from Barclays Capital in New York, where she was an FX sales dealer on the global hedge fund team, reporting to Tony Gibbons, head of hedge fund sales
