Reuters Raises Third-Quarter Gains AS D2000-2 Goes Round-The-Clock

Active markets in foreign exchange contributed to a jump of some 15 per cent in Reuters' 1995 third-quarter revenues over the third quarter of last year, to £677 million, according to chief executive Peter Job. For the first nine months of the year, revenue grew by 17 per cent over 1994 to £1.97 billion. The company reports only revenues on a quarterly basis, reporting profits only at the interim and annually.
The report cautions that currency translation effects inflated this revenue growth
