Reuters to Enforce Contract Clause For Dealing 2000-2 Minimum Usage

Reuters plans to start holding users of its Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange matching service to a provision for minimum usage in its contract that the company has hitherto waived, officials confirm. Ros Wilton, head of transaction products for the company, says that Reuters plans to start enforcing the provision in January.
Until now, in the interests of building liquidity on the service, which was launched in 1992, Reuters has waived the standard provision in the 2000-2 contract, which calls for
