Job swap season hots up

PEOPLE NEWS

LONDON -- With the slow summer period over, the forex industry could see a rash of FX staff moving jobs in London in the coming weeks, recruiters told FX Week.

A number of high-profile positions remain unfilled, and although many banks have instituted hiring freezes, moves can now be expected, they said.

"The pressure is on to fill positions by the end of the year," said one specialist FX recruiter in London. "August was very quiet but we will see a bigger amount of moves going forward."
