Top 45 Rankings Updated Following Miscalculation

LONDON--In the latest Top 45 ranking of international reporting banks according to FX trading revenues for the first-half year period (FXW, October 26), results for the UK banks' first half 1997 figures were not converted to US dollars. This has led to slight discrepancies in terms of both marketshare and percentage changes year-on-year.
HSBC Midland's 1997 first-half results were $404 million; Standard Chartered Bank's were $180 million; NatWest Markets' were $231 million; Barclays Capital's
