eSpeed shows resilience in Q3 results

NEW YORK -- Interdealer broker Cantor Fitzgerald has migrated a significant portion of dealing activity to its sister company, the online broker eSpeed, according to third-quarter results released last month.
The results show a 20% rise in fully electronic transaction revenue to $15.7 million, up from last year’s third-quarter result of $13 million. Total revenues at eSpeed rose 25% to $28 million, from $22 million in third-quarter 2000.
