StanChart names new Asia line-up
Gerrard Katz, previously chief dealer for spot FX, will manage foreign exchange trading for Northeast Asia in Hong Kong, while Rudi Kuan becomes head of trading for Southeast Asia in addition to his role as global head of emerging markets FX in Singapore.
The bank split Tan’s responsibilities to enable his replacements to give “detailed attention” to opportunities in the region, which is seeing rapid growth in FX, said a spokesperson for the bank in Singapore.
