BNP Paribas hires head of French sales
Geist previously worked at Citigroup in Paris in a similar role. There, FX sales dealer Regis Maignan has taken on Geist's responsibilities, reporting to Cyril Baruh, a director of FX sales at Citigroup in Paris.
Geist is the latest addition to BNP Paribas's expanding institutional FX sales team in Europe.
The bank hired Dietert Wesselius from ABN Amro to manage institutional FX sales in Amsterdam late last year (FX Week, January 5, 2004). That followed the appointments of Martin Knol and James
