AIG exits forex sales in Paris

PARIS – AIG Trading’s foreign exchange sales team in Paris has become one of the casualties of its merger with AIG Financial Products to form AIG Capital Markets.

Sources at the US firm in Paris last week confirmed that there are no longer any forex sales dealers there following restructuring arising from the merger, which has been going on for the past two months.

This comes as part of some 70 alleged departures from the firm globally as a result of the merger. The creation of AIG Capital
