Citigroup and GSB sign memo of understanding

NEWS

The deal, which began six months ago, will allow GSB to use Citigroup's internet banking platform, CitiDirect. GSB will be able to provide trade and foreign exchange services and international funds transfers.

Citigroup will not be adding more forex staff in Thailand as a result of the partnership, according to a spokesperson in Hong Kong.

"We are constantly looking to set up more partnerships, but we cannot comment on who we are or planning to talk to in the future," the spokesperson said.
