UniCredit hires Craven to drive Asia expansion

He joins from Dresdner Kleinwort, where he was head of foreign exchange and local markets for North America in New York. He resigned on April 15 (FX Week, April 21).

In the newly created position, Craven will be based in Hong Kong and report locally to Samuel Poon, executive chairman, Asia-Pacific, and globally to Ben Welsh, London-based global head of FICC.

Kenan Altunis, global head of FX sales at UniCredit in London, said the appointment was a continuation of a strategy that was strengthened
