The restructure is aimed at creating better synergies between the bank's algorithmic trading and customer-flow businesses, under new global head of e-commerce Jean-Marc Orlando.
As part of this, the French bank has established a new e-FX team that combines algorithmic trading research and IT staff, alongside spot traders. "Our intention is to automate as many of our processes such as customer-flows monitoring, proprietary trading and positions handling," said Orlando.
