Coupland expected to head forex sales at Lloyds-HBOS

Coupland, who currently fulfils the same role at HBOS, was head of FX trading at Halifax when it merged with Bank of Scotland in September 2001. He then became head of foreign exchange at the newly created HBOS in London. Before working at Halifax, he had a spell at German firm WestLB, where he was an FX manager based in London (FX Week, July 5, 1999).
