Morgan Stanley adopts multi-asset class approach

The fixed-income division and the equity division will no longer exist as organisational entities, and are being divided into trading and client services groups. It is understood the changes reflect the way clients are conducting business, where they no longer focus on single asset classes.

Neal Shear, head of fixed income, becomes head of the trading group, and Jerker Johansson, head of equities, becomes head of the clients and services group. They remain co-heads of institutional securities
