CMC makes landmark inroad to China

The online forex trading firm received a licence from the China Banking Regulatory Commission last week that allows it to market its services to investors from an office in China’s capital.

Roger Hynes, chief operating officer at CMC Group in London, said the move is the start of the authorities’ process towards a form of deregulation and understanding of other markets. "Indeed, we are going out to China to learn about that market, so for us it’s an educational process as well," he added.
