The lawsuit, filed in New York State Supreme Court on August 27, named Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw, Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young, and the corrupt Refco insiders as defendants.
The lawsuit follows that filed on August 21 by the trusts, which also named PricewaterhouseCoopers, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), Banc of America Securities and Deutsche Bank Securities as defendants. It is seeking more than $2 billion in damages and penalties for their role in Refco insiders' fraud and breaches of
