London's forex share continues to increase

A report from the trade body International Financial Services London (IFSL) found that average daily turnover on the UK's foreign exchange market totalled $1.109 trillion in April 2006. This represents 32.4% of the $2.7 trillion global turnover in traditional transactions, up from 31.3% in April 2004. A further $102 billion was traded in currency derivatives in the UK.
